The final half of the reel showcases multiple projects that demonstrate Keegan’s artistry, craft, and technical skill across a breadth of software.
MOTION DESIGN, VISUAL EFFECTS, COMPOSITING, TRACKING
Keegan was brought in by Ataboy Studios to help ideate, design, and ultimately deliver the CG elements for the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Worldwide Trailer.
Along with another artist, Keegan worked in Maxon’s Cinema 4D rendering in Arnold and compositing in After Effects at breakneck speed to turn this project around in a matter of weeks.
DIRECTOR, VISUAL EFFECTS
Imagine a world where the wild virtual phenomenon they call Fortnite came through the screen and into reality. Leading a small team, Keegan carried this project from concept, to production, to delivery in a matter of short weeks.
Using motion capture performances as well as realistic, unbiased rendering, Keegan and his team were able to place these virtual characters seamlessly into the real world.
VISUAL EFFECTS, MOTION DESIGN
For the Seventh season of American Horror Story, Keegan worked along a team of designers and artists to create the look of the viral marketing campaign culminating in the official trailer being launched at Comic Con in San Diego.

In 2021, Keegan was brought in by directors Nick Tucker and Taylor Hamilton to create visualizations of innovative technology that will - hopefully - carry humanity into a brighter future.

MOTION DESIGN
In 2019, Keegan was brought aboard the art team at Vox Media’s tech vertical, The Verge, to create a branding refresh for Season 2 of their popular show, The Art of Music.
Working alongside an Art Director and Senior Motion Designer, Keegan built out lower thirds, titles cards, GFX treatments, and more in a creative effort to shape the look and feel of the show.

In 2020, Keegan was tasked with ideating and creating a show opener for Minor League Esports’ 11th season. Using a streamlined workflow, and with the assistance of a lighting artist, Keegan was able to complete the project in record time.
MOTION DESIGN
For Shark Fest 2020, Keegan was tasked with making a series of short videos featuring stat sheets for different sharks using 2D and 3D motion graphics.
LOOKDEV, DESIGN, MOTION
Working with an acclaimed creative agency in downtown NYC, Keegan and a team of designers were tasked with building the launch assets for the new OnePlus 8 phone.
Keegan’s day-to-day included everything from ideation, motion design, AR/VR, lookdev, and layout.
ART DIRECTION, MOTION DESIGN
Tasked with developing visual aesthetics and effects for the book trailer of Christopher Paolini’s novel, To Sleep in a Sea of Stars, Keegan was able to develop a fast workflow that turned the project around in record time implementing 3D graphics and 2D compositing

In 2018, Keegan was brought aboard by the art team at Vox Media’s The Verge to brainstorm and complete graphics for their hit series, Home of the Future, hosted by Grant Imahara.

In 2022, Keegan was tasked with building out the motion UI elements in this collab between Dr Lupo and Verizon
DIRECTOR, VISUAL EFFECTS
Tapping into the viral sensation of 2018 and 2019, Keegan took the meme to new heights with his short, “Spooky Scary Skeletons in NYC.” The video garnered over 20 million of views on YouTube and millions more impressions across the web.
Using innovative techniques along with the newest tech and software, Keegan was able to shoot, edit, and publish the video in a few short weeks. What would have taken a typical animation studio months and hundreds of thousands of dollars in development costs, Keegan was able to complete in his spare time in a handful of days.
